Age Range: Over 6 months of age.
Class Details: This class is designed to teach you and your dogs the foundations of learning, how to work as a team and how to connect best with your dog. We cover cues such as: Sit, down, stand, stay, focus, touch, recall, loose leash walking and polite introductions. This class is fast paced with individual learning time as well as group exercises to ensure learning in all environments. It is expected that you and your dog practice the learned behaviours outside of class between sessions.
The class is designed for social dogs, we do go over greetings. However, dogs must be comfortable around other dogs with minimal barking. If your dog is reactive please discuss other training options with me.
Canine Fundamentals
Age Range: Over 6 months and successfully passed Canine Fundamentals.
Class Details: This class is a continuation of Canine Fundamentals, in this class you will be working on cues such as sit, down, stay and recall with added distance and distractions. You and the dogs will be working even harder together to build a stronger bond and skill set. We will also be learning new skills such as: Sending to a place, Stop, leave it and right/ left heels. You will also be working on leash skills, keeping the dog walking with you through obstacles and around other dogs/ people. This class is designed to set you and your dog up for success in the "real" world.
