Class Details: This class is designed to allow your dog to interact with the world around them in a positive manner. Introduction of basic cues such as; look, sit, lay down, stand, touch and recall. This class is designed to strengthen your bond, learn about positive reinforcement training and have fun! We will go over enrichment, common puppy behaviors and also have time for off leash play. Each puppy will also receive a puppy socialization checklist for you to complete during class and at home.
Things to bring to class: Puppy with a well fitted flat collar/ harness(no retractables). Treats! Anything else you need to be comfortable for class. Water will be provided for the dogs.

Puppy Basics
Age Range: 17 weeks - 6 months old at times of sign up. Must be up to date with age appropriate vaccines.
Class Details: This class will focus on further developing skills learned in Puppy Basics. Developing loose leash skills as well as working on polite introductions with other dogs and people. Continued work on focus, bed cues, stays, and recall. As well as off leash play time.
Things to bring to class: Puppy with a well fitted collar/ harness and standard leash (no retractables). A bed, mat or towel your dog can lay on, and treats! Water will be provided for the dogs.

Puppy Safety Information
All puppies must be up to date on age appropriate vaccines including kennel cough (12wks) and Rabies (16wks). Vaccine records are required, these can be requested from your veterinarian.
I take the safety of your puppies very seriously, I will be sanitizing the training space before and after each class. If any puppies have an accident during class please let me know and I will promptly clean the area. If your puppy has any health issues please report to me and do not attend class. If your puppy has not had all 3 vaccines I recommend not allowing them to walk around the parking lot prior to class as many dogs visit this location.
Attending classes before all 3 vaccines does have some risks, Puppies are not considered fully vaccinated until receiving at least 2 vaccines over the age of 12 weeks old at an interval of 4 weeks apart. The socialization period for dogs is between ages 3-16 weeks. This time period is the most critical for setting up a strong foundation of socialization in your dog. This time frame can vary slightly for each individual dog. Because the socialization period and the vaccine schedule do not line up perfectly it is important to keep your dogs around fully vaccinated or similar vaccine status for the age group and avoid outdoor locations such as dog parks and common walking trails. Due to the age range of this class NO ONE should be attending dog populated locations. Please be courteous to all dogs in the class, keeping everyone safe is my top priority.
If you are concerned about your dog's vaccine status and the attendance of classes I highly recommend speaking with your veterinarian. It is incredibly important to report any health issues you are seeing in your puppy to me and your veterinarian immediately for the safety of everyone.
